CA Dr. Girish Ahuja, IPCC- Income Tax, Final- Direct Tax
|
|
Dr. Girish Ahuja did his graduation and post-graduation from Shri Ram College of
Commerce and was a position holder. He got his Ph. D from Faculty of Management
Studies, University of Delhi. He has been teaching Direct Taxes to students at various
levels for more than 35 years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
of India (ICAI) and was placed in the merit list of both Intermediate and Final
Examinations of the Institute. He is a senior faculty member of Shri Ram College
of Commerce (Delhi University) and also visiting faculty member of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
and various management institutes. He had been nominated by the Government to the
Central Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for two terms.
He is a member of Fiscal Law Committee of ICAI and Editorial Board of ICSI. He is
also on the Board of Directors of many companies and has a vast and rich experience
in the field of finance and Taxation.

CA Parveen Sharma, IPCC-Accounts, Final – Accounts

Mr. Parveen Sharma is a first class commerce graduate from Delhi University, having
done his graduation from Sri Venkateswara College. He qualified Chartered Accountancy
Course in 1996 and was placed in merit list (Rank Holder) in Intermediate and Finals
both. He completed his post graduation in Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP
in July 2007. He is also an Associate Member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants
of India and Licentiate of Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He topped
Delhi University by scoring 100% marks in Accountancy. He also won Gold Medal in
Accounts Olympiad held in 1990. He has the honour of being co-opted as a member
to Board of Studies (2006-2007), Advisor, Accounting Standards Committee (2007-08)
Member of Committee for Accounting Standards for Local Bodies for the year 2007-2008,
and Regional Monitoring Committee (2003-04) of Institute of Chartered Accountants
of India.
He was selected Member, Committee on Management Accounting of ICAI for the year
2008-09. He possesses a vast experience of teaching Accountancy to students of CA
and has been visiting faculty at ICAI and ICWAI. He is currently teaching accountancy
at various levels Professional Institutes and Universities and has addressed a number
of courses and seminars organized in Professional Institutes. He has authored research
documents on various issues.

Mr. Sanjay Agarwal is a first rank holder for SBSC, Delhi University. He also a

Mr.Sanjay Saraf spent ten years as an arbitrage consultant, with top-tier firms, to executives, CFOs and Boards on strategy, transactions, performance measurement, and incentives. His industry foci were financial services and derivatives. His clients included Ratnabali Capital Markets, Lohia Securities Ltd., Indianivesh, Cdequisearch, Infinity equities and derivatives,etc. For several years, he has been a regular contributor to IBS, Kolkata. He is also a visiting faculty at ICAI and ICSI.
He combines a practical background in actual corporate transactions with extensive academic training. He has published on option pricing models, real options, portfolio management, volatility trading, etc He occasionally consults on advanced analytical issues.
He started providing training classes for ICFAI Financial programs way back in 1999. Since then, growth has been exponential. Students from all over the country come to Kolkata, INDIA to take his training classes.

Mr. R.D. Maheshwari, Final – Corporate & Allied Law

|
R.D.Maheshwari has been teaching the Corporate and Allied Laws to C.A.Final for the last 25 years. Having being reader in Department of Commerce, Delhi University he in the year 2004-05 had been adjudged as one of the best faculty teaching Corporate Law to M.Com.Students. in South Campus, Delhi University.
His presentation of the subject matter is unique. He gives the historical background and the reasons for the creation of the law . Thereafter he proceeds to deal with bare legal provisions of the law to be followed by the explanations which are popularly known as ‘ Comments”. His frequent use of the simple examples from the daily life not only make the law interesting but easy to remember and to grasp. His wide use of the diagrams not only makes the law simply stated but imprint on the minds of students. His lecture-delivery is incredible. What is more there is an eye to eye contact with students while the lecture is delivered. Though the paper is theoretical but it is interestingly stated and presented After the law is explained, even the difficult problems look simpler and students participate and very often provide the correct answers.
He has the book on the Subject – Corporate and Allied Laws – for C.A.Final. covering the entire new syllabus. Approach to the book is student-friendly. Book is designed to meet the requirements of students. Bare provisions of the law in simple language are fully given and then law is explained by way of comments to be followed by problems under the heading of Internal Assessment. .
